Thomas Theaker -> James Theaker
 
Thomas Theaker was born in Scrooby 27th December 1953.
Thomas was the sixth of nine children.

Thomas was working on a farm in 1871
 
 
 
Thomas sailed to Australia on the Toowoomba which sailed from Glasgow on the 10th of December 1872.

Thomas arrived in Queensland on the 29th March 1873.
It was under assisted immigration legislation.
 
Thomas married Amelia 'Millie' Smith on the 4th January 1897 in Queensland.
 
They had one child, James R., born on the 3rd Jul 1901in Sydney, New South Wales.
Sadly the baby died 2nd October the same year in Waterloo, New South Wales.
James is buried Rookwood General Cemetery in an unmarked grave.

Thomas' wife Millie died January 14th 1929.
She is buried Waverley Cemetery Bronte, Waverley Council, New South Wales, Australia

Thomas died 26th May 1942.
He is buried in Rookwood General Cemetery, Rookwood, Cumberland Council, New South Wales.
