A search of the NBI brought up the following data, Susannah THEAKER 4th Dec1817 age 60, in Belton in Axholme at All Saints, Anglican, Lincolnshire. A search of the IGI for a Susanna Dale brought up one christened in Belton sixty years earlier on the 3rd May 1757. This is not proof of course but a reasonable line of enquiry. Information given previously gave a birth for her in 1762 but I have not been able to find another Susanna that fits that date. Parents given here are those from her christening, her sister is the only other Dale with parents of the same name, born in Belton.

A Thomas and Sarah Theacker christened a Susanna on the 30th November 1817 in Swinefleet. It is my belief that Susanna is that Susanna is a sister to William and James. Swinefleet is near Whitgift. Thomas' mother was called Susannah. I have not found a marriage for a second Thomas and Sarah which would fit the dates. A single mother, Susanna Theaker christened a Fanny Theaker in Swinefleet 30th September 1838.

Elizabeth has been difficult to find on the 1881 Census. I have checked a variety of alternate spellings on the census, having already found one family member that was transcribed wrongly. I have come up with one:
Elizth. Theakes, parlour maid, unmarried, 19, birth place down as ..., Notts. servant at the house of Georgina Bartles in Scarborough. Visiting the house was one William A. Woodward, Curate of Grove, Notts.
There are only six Theakes in the Census therefore the name is almost certainly a mistranscription of Theaker.
