Notes:- I think that DP Theaker may be of the Scrooby Theakers. An image of a family tree printout that Graham Theaker once sent has a John William Pinning Theaker on it but not connected to it. The was a John William Pinning Theaker's birth registered March quarter of 1860 in E. Retford.

There is also a researcher who posted the following on Rootsweb. Blyth and Ranskill are close to Scrooby.

 Is anyone researching PINNING in the Worksop/East Retford area? I have
Thomas Pinning m Sarah Denmar c 1817 in Blyth. I believe children were Elizabeth,
William and Ann, could be others.
Also researching THEAKER in Ranskill/Blyth area. I have John Theaker,
shoemaker b. c. 1820, parents I think were Thomas and Ann but have got no further
with this line yet. James married Ann Pinning in 1845 also in Blyth. Has
anyone any idea how I can find out what churches were in Blyth at that time?
